The Cafe Rio Timeline
From a humble kitchen dream to a beloved caferio destination — here's how we got here.
The Dream Begins
Founders Maria and David opened the first Cafe Rio location in a cozy corner of Henderson, NV — just 12 seats and a whole lot of heart. Word spread fast about their signature slow-cooked sauces and homemade tortillas.
First Expansion
Growing demand led to a full renovation and expansion to 60 seats. The caferio launched its first full menu featuring 40+ items, including the fan-favorite Rio Bowl and Sunrise Breakfast Burrito.
Award Recognition
Cafe Rio was named "Best New Restaurant in Henderson" by Nevada Food Digest. The recognition brought a wave of new customers and cemented Cafe Rio as a must-visit dining destination in the region.
Catering & Events Launch
We introduced our catering program, bringing Cafe Rio's bold flavors to weddings, corporate events, and community gatherings across the United States. Over 200 events served in the first year alone.
Online Ordering Launches
Cafe Rio launched its online ordering platform, making it easier than ever for customers to enjoy their favorite dishes at home. Delivery and pickup options brought Cafe Rio to thousands of new households.
A New Chapter
